Service Description

Explore problem areas in your life through a gentle discussion with your qualified, non-judgemental and accepting social worker who will assess your situation and provide options towards resolving your particular issues or concerns. The initial 90-minute session is a structured conversation which explores many different aspects of your life, so that your social worker can understand not only your worry or concern, but also any other factors which might be contributing to your overall felt stress. You are invited to speak about anything you choose - your social worker will not judge you, nor invade your privacy - you are in charge of the content of the session. At the end of your first session, the social worker will summarise what they have understood of your concern, and together you will put in place a support plan. Subsequent 60-minute support sessions are available to track and review the progress of your support plan, and to check in with you down the track as well if you wish - please see our rates on the website. Bookings can be made for sessions at our clinic, online or at another mutually-agreed safe and confidential location.
