Service Description

Children are always affected by what is going on around them - both internally in themselves and in their outer environment, in the home, care environment, school and community. Their developing brain takes on information at an astronomical rate, like a sponge it takes on data, new thoughts, new experiences, new feelings and sensations. With so much going on, it's natural that sometimes they might have trouble adjusting to events in their world, and they might need support to feel better and continue along their natural inquisitive learning journey. Contact us to set up a child counselling session if you believe your little person could use some extra support. Sessions are offered face to face in clinic or at client's home by prior arrangement. A 30-minute free telephone session is made available with parent/legal guardian to discuss suitability of the service in context of presenting issues/concerns. For young adults aged 7-12 yrs, parent/s are required to be on site at all times that the child is in session. Parent/s can be in room with child if the child requests them to be present.
